Hi yall, my name is Shani. I am an all self taught artist currently living in Denver, Colorado. Thank you for supporting my art.
The main medium I work with is linolieum block printing. I taught myself how to make prints on YouTube about 4 years ago now. I also love to draw and take film photos. Occasionally I also paint with watercolors, acrylics, and oils.
I view visual art as an act of creation, rebellion and so much more. The thing I value most in life is creation and I believe that the way we interact with others is a form of creation. We CREATE the reality we want. We CREATE the relationships we want. I deeply value all my connections with others. I would not be the artist, friend, lover, person, that I am without all the people who have held me, supported me, witnessed me. To everyone who loves me and allows me to love them - thank you.
